Subaru has announced the 2027 Solterra, and surprise! Its price barely inched up. The base Premium trim starts at a very competitive $39,970. That’s only $25 more than the 2026 model. Where did that slight bump come from? The destination charge, which increased to $1,475 from $1,450. Not bad at all if you ask us! Especially once you take into account all of the standard features it comes with! It includes a 14-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the full EyeSight driver assistance suite, a power liftgate, and heated front seats.
Jumping up to the Limited trim, the 2027 Subaru Solterra adds way more stuff. They include 20-inch wheels, a heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, a surround-view camera, and a Harman Kardon premium audio system. However, certain exterior colors come with one interior option. Elemental Red Pearl comes with Gray StarTex, while Midnight Tide Mica has black.

At the top of the lineup, the Touring XT trim adds a panoramic glass roof, ventilated front seats, and radiant leg heaters. You can also opt for a black/blue two-tone leather interior. Two-tone paint is available for $495 or $970 more, depending on which one you choose. Loaded up, the Solterra checks in at $47,330 before any exterior or interior colors that cost extra. That’s not bad at all, especially considering some of its competitors still cost over $50,000 fully loaded.
Every 2027 Solterra has a 74.7-kWh battery, an NACS port, and dual-motor AWD. Premium and Limited models have 233 hp, while the Limited XT and Touring XT have 338 horsepower. The EPA rates the Solterra at 288 miles for the Premium trim and 278 miles for the rest of the lineup. It also features an 11-kW onboard charger and a peak DC charging rate of 150 kW.
