The Fiat Topolino has been making its rounds in the U.S. this year. From the New York Auto Show to the recent Los Angeles Auto Show, the pint-spint-sized hatcback has caught everyone’s eye. Now, the little Italian continues its road trip across America with a stop at Art Week Miami. This time, it sports an abstract new exterior. A collaboration between the Fiat and artist Romero Britto, this special Topolino will be on display at Britto Palace, the world’s largest art studio.
This specific Fiat Topolino sports an incredibly bold exterior paint. It features elements from pop art, Cubism, and graffiti, giving the car a vibrant presence. Blue, red, green, and orange feature heavily to achieve the vibrance synonymous with Britto’s work. Additionally, the colors convey the message of Britto’s work: optimism, happiness, and love. This specific Topolino, nickname Brittolino, is all about boldness and standing out, as evident in its striking color scheme.

In addition to this collaboration with one of the most collected and licensed artists in history, Fiat also revealed that it’s bringing the Topolino stateside. Olivier Francois, Fiat brand CEO, announced that the Topolino is coming to North America after receiving so much consumer excitement wherever it went.
The name Topolino comes from the Italian word for mouse. It also pays tribute to the 500 Topolino, which Fiat produced from 1936 to 1955. Like its predecessor, the latest Topolino gained popularity thanks to its size and charm. However, we still don’t know what the car will feature when it arrives in North America next year. In Europe, the Topolino is considered a quadricycle that’s essentially a rebadged Citroen Ami. Power comes from a 5.5-kWh lithium-io battery and an 8-hp electric motor. In terms of driving range, the Topolino is only rated for 47 miles.
