The Maserati Grecale has only been around for two years, and its all-electric variant, the Folgore, is already receiving meaningful updates. Quite possibly the most important is the addition of the AWD disconnect system. When additional traction isn’t required, the 2026 Maserati Grecale Folgore operates in RWD mode, turning only the rear wheels. As a result, it gains efficiency improvements and a range of up to 580 km or 360 miles. However, expect EPA ratings to be lower than the more lenient WLTP cycle. Transitions only take milliseconds, physically disengaging the front shafts from the hubs to maximize efficiency.

In addition to its increased efficiency and AWD disconnect system, the 2026 Maserati Grecale Folgore includes several key functions. The first of these is automatic battery preconditioning, which activates when navigating to a DC charger. This enables the vehicle to bring the battery to the right temperature for DC charging, reducing charging times. The SUV also includes a remote passenger compartment climate control function, which stabilizes in-car temperature using the Maserati Connect app. Finally, the EV routing feature now has Dynamic Range Mapping, which shows how far you can travel based on your battery status. It also constantly updates depending on driving conditions. As a result, the system gives drivers an accurate real-time prediction of remaining range.
As for other changes, the 2026 Grecale now offers six new exterior colors as part of the Fuoriserie Programme. This also includes eight dedicated interiors, four brake caliper colors, and five wheel types. These include one wheel style and a brake caliper that are exclusive to the Folgore model. Inside, the Grecale offers three standard cabin configurations, also part of the Fuoriserie Programme. These include Pelle Ghiaccio and Sport Leather in Nero/Rosso or Nero/Giallo. Additionally, the program offers eight options for seats.
