Pricing for the 2026 Toyota Grand Highlander is now available. The base LE grade starts at $42,855. Opting for AWD adds $1,600 to the sticker price. The Platinum and electrified Limited models include AWD as standard equipment.
In terms of powertrains, the gas-powered comes with a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder making 265 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque. Meanwhile, the Grand Highlander Hybrid uses a 245-hp 2.5-liter hybrid four-cylinder. On the other hand, the Hybrid MAX system pumps out 362 hp from a 2.4-liter turbo-four and two electric motors. In terms of fuel economy ratings, gas models check in at up to 21/28/24 mpg city/highway/combined depending on the trim. Hybrid MAX models offer 26/27/27 mpg. Finally, the most efficient Grand Highlander Hybrid comes in at up to 37/34/36 mpg.
The 2026 Grand Highlander continues to offer three AWD systems depending on the powertrain. Gas models have an optional Dynamic Torque Control AWD, while the Grand Highlander Hybrid offers Electronic On-Demand AWD. Opting for the Hybrid MAX system adds full-time Electronic AWD as standard.

2026 Toyota Grand Highlander: Nightshade Returns
On top of the LE, XLE, Limited, and Platinum trims, the Grand Highlander Nightshade also returns. Based on the Hybrid Limited trim, this variant includes plenty of blackout accents plus standard Electronic On-Demand AWD. This blacked-out SUV also offers Cement as a trim-specific exterior color option.
Every Grand Highlander comes standard with a 12.3-inch touchscreen featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 also comes standard. Higher trims come with niceties like heated and ventilated first and second row seats, a head-up display, and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. Additional driver assistance features include a surround view camera and Traffic Jam Assist. However, the latter requires an active trial or subscription for Toyota’s Drive Connect service.
